Foodink, Find Your Ideal Food Promotions
That is how a Malaysian would normally greet one another or begin a conversation. Literally it means have you eaten, and subliminally, it goes to show the extent to how food and eating form an integral part of the unique Malaysian culture.
Another popular phrase among the locals is ‘Jalan-jalan cari makan’ which loosely translates to mean ‘travelling looking for food‘. Not only have many Malaysians travelled around the world looking for food, some have made that extra effort to take our food with and thus, introducing to the wider world the colourful and scrumptious Malaysian cuisine!
